Java.lang.nullpointerexception error when trying to log on.

As an imo refugee I would consider buying the upgrade if it would actually notify me when I have a message!

Fix the bug asap App is not working after last update.... I am not able to open the application

Ever since they updated the design for iOS 7, this app has been terrible. Nothing works. Messages get lost, never sent, etc. Wait until they fix the bugs in the next version before downloading.

Not sure what happened In the last few years. I used to use this app all the time. It worked great on my iPhone 4. Now I have a 5 and its slow to do everything. Send any message I type. Receive any new messages. Even when it does notify me, when I open it its slow to load the new messages. This needs a new overhaul.

It used to work great, but the latest version keeps freezing/hanging, and it does weird things like posts things multiple times or not at all. It is no longer reliable. Please fix!

I would have discarded this app long ago had there existed a good alternative. But sadly, there isnt. This app crashes more often than a person blinks. Its terrible really. And when it doesnt crash, you have to put up with its glitches. These guys want to give a lot of features but are unable to get it right. Good luck in fixing the app, guys. I want to like it, but it disappoints every time I have to use it. :(

This app has been awful. Its extremely slow to upload and download chat entries. Often the app shows you are logged in when you actually are not logged in.

Worst app ever!! Keeps kicking me out and I dont even know it until my friends tell me! And its very slow! Pls fix all glitches!!! Was working fine until the upgrade happen!

So I use gtalk and the options for getting an app with status support is getting scarce. This program used to work but now my status doesnt change, Im not getting my messages and no one contacts me back from support. They should either get back on it and help the customers or pack it up for good.

This app would be great if it ever worked. I deleted it a couple times, logged back in and it would work for a couple days, then it would not connect to anyone on my chat list nor would I receive any or be able to send any out. I would buy the paid version but Im sure itll have the same problems.

Now not so good

Crashes frequently & inexplicably, especially when multiple messages come in one after another. Closing the app & restarting doesnt always work - I have to find a desktop & end the chat from within gmail itself.

Ive been using this app for years but an update recently ruined it. It logs me in and out randomly and constantly crashes. Now the search begins for another g-talk app.

I bought this app while I had my last iPhone. When I upgraded to the 6, I lost the paid version. Wont be spending the $4.99 again to upgrade to the ad free version, though there are constant ads and Im frequently redirected to the App Store, even when I have not touched the ad. Considering switching back to google hangouts.

This app is so buggy. I give it ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE THE APP STORE wont let me give it ZERO! The moment someone makes an app that will stay reliably connected to google chat, this app will be history. And Im not sure why they cant fix it. I have to keep Google hang out active to ensure that Im staying connected. This app appears to stay online but it really is not staying online and it appears that messages are going to people but they are not getting them nor am I getting messages from anyone. And today I realized that this app does not work with Siri anymore. It only allows you to speak using Siri for a few characters and then it stops. Every other application allows me to talk as long as I want. This app dies at about five words every time. This is even more irritating than the fact that I have to continually log out and back on to make sure its staying connected. Come on folks. Fix this. Its embarrassing now.

Waste of time, unreliable, buggy...

What appeared to be a promising app fell way short as it crashed all the time.

Used to be a decent app a few years ago. Cant even get past the login page because it crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Dont bother. Developers abandoned the app. Does not work - literally at all. Wont connect and will invariably crash every single time you attempt to use it.
